Boeti Eshak

Considers himself as a pioneer of Lenasia as a student at Lenasia High in 1956 and moved into Rainbow in 1964. Boeti Eshak played for Swaraj and became secretary in 1970. He was secretary of the SASF management committee and now secretary of the SA Fed Soccer Legends Gauteng. He spent 31 years as a journalist with the Sunday Times, ending as a trainer and assessor. His community involvement began in 1966 with the local SANTA branch.

He joined TIBA Services for the Blind when it was Transvaal Indian Blind Association and took over as Chairman in 2017. TIBA has grown to great heights since.

He was awarded the Lifetime Involvement in the Community Award at East Wave’s 2018 Nelson Mandela Leadership Awards.
